Puerto Vallarta fishing Report May 2023

Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, and Mahi Mahi! It has been big month here in Puerto Vallarta! as we await the bigger blue and Black Marlin season starting in late June the fishing has still been outstanding We are ctaching huge Yellowfin Tuna offshore on 2.5 day fishing charters Captain Steve and the crew on the My Marlin did a overnight charter and caught a Cow over 350 lbs! see photos below.

Puerto Vallarta fishing report October Yellowfin Tuna and Mahi Mahi Mania.

Mahi Mahi are biting inshore and Offshore! And big Cow Yellowfin Tuna are biting Way Offshore on Overnight fishing Charters.  What more could you ask for!  

Though Mahi's and Tuna are the main story right now.  We are also catching Sailfish,  Blue and Black Marlin, and Jack Crevalle.

Hi Everyone Sorry for not posting for such a long time.

It is has been a great summer of fishing We have been catching Blue Marlin offshore. The Team aboard the My Marlin caught one of the best fish of the month fishing on August 16. Due to alot of rain the previous days the bay was very dirty and they needed to get about 3 hrs offshore to find the blue water. The Team caught and released a big Blue Marlin estimated around 300 lbs slow trolling on a 14 hour fishing charter.  See video below. 

The Big Tuna are biting but way offshore to get to these Cow's you need to do a overnight charter 80- 120 miles offshore from Puerto Vallarta. Captain Steve had great 2.5 day trip aboard the My Marlin See photos below. 

July 16 Captain Cesar Perez won 1st place Mahi Mahi and 

1st place Sailfish at the 14th International Fishing Tournament last weekend held at Paradise Village Resort in Nuevo Vallarta. The Mahi Mahi weighed 40 lbs and the Sailfish was 71 lbs Fishing aboard the Tiliche. 

The Puerto Vallarta inshore fishing charters there has been a ton of action and the haul has been different day to day but the bite has been consistent with Small Mahi Mahi, Jack Crevalle, Roosterfish, Skip Jacks, Bonitas, and more small species.
