Puerto Vallarta fishing report February 2024
It has been a great month of fishing. The Mahi Mahi bite has continued inshore and offshore. The Mahi average size inshore have been 5-15 lbs and offshore 10-45 lbs! Along with the Mahi Mahi we have also been catching Sailfish and Striped Marlins on 8-10 hour days. And for some reason there has also been a couple of Blue Marlins caught this last week which is super rare for this time of the year. The offshore Tuna grounds have been producing a lot of 30-50 lb tuna on 12-14 hr fishing charters and the big Yellowfin Tuna over 100 lbs are biting on overnight fishing charters 80+ miles offshore! Other species we have been catching inshore include Jack Crevalle, Spanish Mackerel, Roosterfish, and Skip Jacks. We have teamed up with PV Sportfishing to offer the largest fleet in Puerto Vallarta and now we also offer pick up at Los Muertos pier, Nuevo Vallarta, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Punta de Mita and Sayulita.
