It has been another great month of fishing in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. We have been catching Marlin, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Sailfish, and more! The 67th Annual Marlin and Tuna Tournament was held the 9 to the 11th and it was another great tournament lots of fish and alot of fun! It was a 3 day Fishing Tournament with all the biggest fish caught the last day of the tournament. 1st lace Marlin weighed in at 240 lbs caught by Valhalla and 1st place Yellowfin Tuna weighed 196 lbs caught by the Lucky days.

We are coming to end of the Blue and Black Marlin season but we should still be catching Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and Tuna in the upcoming months. As the water starts to get cooler we will start to catch more Striped Marlin and Roosterfish. so the most common question I get is what can I expect to catch while fishing in Puerto Vallarta? and the answer for trips coming up in December is

4 hr charter You can catch Jack Crevalle, Skip Jacks, Bonitas, Spanish Mackerel,

6 hr charter You can catch Jack Crevalle, Skip Jacks, Bonitas, Spanish Mackerel,

8 hr charter you can catch Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Jack Crevalle, Roosterfish

10-12 hr charters you have the best shot at Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and Tuna.

If you are lucky enough to already be in Puerto Vallarta right now or vacationing before the the 1st week of December the catch will be similar but you will still have a chance at the bigger Blue and Black Marlin on 10 and 12 hour Puerto Vallarta fishing charters

Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, and Mahi Mahi! It has been big month here in Puerto Vallarta! as we await the bigger blue and Black Marlin season starting in late June the fishing has still been outstanding We are ctaching huge Yellowfin Tuna offshore on 2.5 day fishing charters Captain Steve and the crew on the My Marlin did a overnight charter and caught a Cow over 350 lbs! see photos below.
